DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

Sin Nature:

We believe, through Adam, all men/women have inherited a sinful nature, which separates us from a relationship with the One True God  (Romans 3:23; 5:12; 6:23).

Jesus Christ:

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a perfect sinless life on this earth.  He was crucified, died, and rose from the dead.  He serves in Heaven as High Priest until His coming return  (Matt. 1:23-25; 4:1-11; 28:7; I Cor. 15:20; II Cor. 5:20-21; Heb. 4:14).

Salvation:

We believe salvation comes only through accepting the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the only payment for our sins and confessing Him as Lord of our lives. Salvation is evidenced by our works, yet it is only achieved by grace, through faith in the work of Jesus Christ  (Acts              4:12; Romans 10:9; Eph. 2:8-10).

Trinity:

We believe that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one God, yet they are 3 different persons with unique ministries  (John 1:1; Acts 1:7-8)

Eternal Security:

We believe that those who have been saved are predestined to grow into the image of Christ.  Our salvation is eternally secured, not by our ability, but by the Holy Spirit’s ability to keep us saved  (Eph. 1:11-14;Rom. 8:29-30).

Bible:

The Bible is God's written instruction to mankind. It was written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, through men, yet remains perfect and infallible. The Bible is the absolute standard of right and wrong because it reveals the very nature of God. The Bible is sufficient for counseling and instruction in all areas of life  (I Thess. 2:13; II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21).
